SK magic MY swoons consumers with Park Seo Joon as brand ambassador

South Korean home appliances brand SK magic has brought on board South Korean actor Park Seo Jun (pictured) as its brand ambassador in Malaysia for the year. At the same time, it has also unveiled a new slogan "Goodbye Old, Hello Magic", representing its commitment to becoming a greater home appliances companion than before.
According to SK magic, Park was selected due to his charisma and appealing nature, as well as his belief that happiness should take the centre stage of everyone's life. Additionally, the brand said Park has also demonstrated the value of continuously seeking improvements to his work throughout his career in the entertainment industry. With both combined, Park is a perfect representation of SK magic's 2021 vision in delivering happiness to the daily lives of its consumers, the brand said.
While it declined to comment on the monetary value of the brand ambassadorship, SK magic's spokesperson told A+M the partnership is based on is 2021 brand campaign with several upcoming initiatives, which are constantly being innovated based on current trends and the fast-changing landscape due to the pandemic. With Park on board, the company expects to see an increase in brand engagement between SK magic and its Malaysian customers.
Meanwhile, SK magic derived its new slogan after reflecting on 2020. "This represents our commitment to our customers to continuously be a better home appliances companion by introducing more advanced products to our existing product line, as well as to keep looking forward to greater things that we are prepared to offer in 2021," the spokesperson added.
Park said he holds quality at a very high regard in both his work and the brands he chooses to work with. "I am excited to be representing a brand from my home country on an international scale. I look forward to sharing SK magic’s mission in bringing happiness to the daily lives of all Malaysians through experiencing the latest technological advances from the brand’s product line," he said.
Kim Kyung Won, SK magic Malaysia's MD said it sees an opportunity to inspire Malaysians to invest in having better quality air and drinking water at home. It is also excited to be working with Park to inspire Malaysians to live a quality lifestyle, he added. SK magic is currently working with Ogilvy and MediaCom in Malaysia.
Moving forward, it will focus on communicating its 2021 mission, which is to deliver happiness to the daily lives of Malaysians, and cater to their needs in the new normal. According to the spokesperson, this also includes safety at all times for its team and consumers.
