Singapore's Science Centre Board (SCB) has concluded a pitch for a public relations agency and has appointed Zeno Communications Singapore, according to GeBiz documents seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

Zeno Communications will work with the Science Centre Group of Attractions which includes Science Centre Singapore, KidsSTOP, Omni-theatre and Snow City to oversee PR duties.
It will specifically handle Science Centre Singapore and KidsSTOP, Omni-theatre and Snow City, according to tender documents.
The Science Centre Board is looking to enhance SCB’s image locally and globally, drive awareness and priorities for publicity, refine and execute cohesive social media strategies based on data analysis and garner intellectual conversations through posts that stimulate social chatter.
"We are thrilled to partner with the Science Centre team and embed the fascinating applications of science into the passion points of Singaporeans across all ages through our creative campaigns," said Swyn Evans, managing director at Zeno Singapore. "Science makes up the fabric of all that we love, and we look forward to build up the cultural resonance of an iconic national treasure that we are all proud of."
This comes as other government organisations pick new agencies to support their work. Just today, Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) picked GOVT to support its creative and digital needs after concluding a pitch that began last September, according to GeBIZ documents seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE. The appointment will be valid for a period of two years with the option to extend for another three years.
At the time, it noted that it is looking for a creative and digital agency that has a strong digital-first approach, covering functions such as providing strategic counsel and advice on brand strategy, creative and digital strategy. This includes China in its scope of works.
