Saudi Arabian Airlines takes off with PR partner in SG

Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAUDIA Airlines) has appointed COCO Public Relations as its official public relations agency for 12 months. COCO PR will be supporting SAUDIA Airlines in all its communication endeavours and spearhead strategies to augment the airline’s brand image by positioning the brand as the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The appointment involves creating awareness for the brand, providing counsel, building media relations in Singapore, and liaising with PR affiliates in other markets – Malaysia, China, South Korea, and Indonesia to provide communications management support for SAUDIA Airlines – where the airlines currently operate across these countries.

Through strategically planned media engagement activities, targeted press releases and more media outreach programmes, the agency plans to introduce the flight carrier to the media across various markets. This will be done by highlighting its services and endeavours, all while ensuring the carrier is positioned as the key to connecting Saudi Arabia globally. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to COCO PR for additional information.

Most recently, SAUDIA Airlines has officially launched direct flights from Seoul to Riyadh – the first direct flight between the Kingdom and South Korea in over 30 years. The new flight route comes in line with the Saudi Aviation Strategy, which aims to connect the Kingdom to the world with more than 250 destinations.

In addition to Seoul, in just 2022 alone, SAUDIA Airlines has added flights to nine other new destinations including Bangkok, Chicago, Barcelona, Malaga, Marrakesh, Moscow, Beijing, Entebbe, and Amsterdam. It currently serves an extensive global route network covering over 100 destinations across four continents, including all 28 domestic airports in Saudi Arabia. At the moment, the flight carrier is focused on working towards covering an additional 55 destinations by 2030 and is well on its way to achieving this.
