Ruder Finn Asia has promoted Brian Witte (pictured) to take on the role of deputy general manager of the Singapore office. Witte confirmed to Marketing that he will be managing the Singapore operations. This comes shortly after Martin Alintuck, managing director of Southeast Asia left the agency.

Witte has been with Ruder Finn for seven years, joining as a senior consultant in 2012. He was then elevated two years later to serve as director of Ruder Finn Asia’s corporate and technology practice in Singapore. Helming the role of director, he was responsible for providing strategy, counsel and execution support for regional and local communication campaigns for clients in the enterprise technology, payments, corporate, medtech, healthcare and property sectors.

In addition, some of his other duties include advising on APAC market insights and strategy, CSR campaign ideation and execution, crisis communications, internal communications plans and content development, among others. In his time with the agency, he has also led a team of consultants to further strengthen and support its portfolio of clients across the region.

Prior to joining Ruder Finn Asia, Witte was with Omnicom Group's PR firm Porter Novelli as a senior consultant providing strategic counsel to clients on APAC regional public relations plans and execution and more. He has also held senior roles with Burson-Marsteller and China Concept Consulting in Beijing for close to five years.
