Rewind Networks extends reach in Asia through collaboration with MNC Vision

Rewind Networks has launched HITS MOVIES on pay-TV platform, MNC Vision. HITS MOVIES will be available on the platform’s newly-launched basic family pack on Channel 11 beginning 1 April 2019. The channel’s HD version will also be available on MNC Now and MNC Play. MNC Vision will be the third platform to carry HITS MOVIES, which launched on 1 October 2018 in Singapore and Indonesia, with Starhub and HOOQ respectively. This new deal brings HITS MOVIES’ reach in Asia to more than three million homes within six months of its launch. HITS MOVIES celebrates the best blockbuster films ever made from the 1960s to the 1990s such as Superman, Batman Forever, Forrest Gump, and Ghost. The channel features a curated selection of hit movies from major Hollywood studios such as MGM Studios, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros and Sony Pictures. In April, subscribers of MNC Vision can look forward to iconic titles such as Police Academy, Dirty Harry, Grease, and RoboCop. “HITS MOVIES has had a spectacular ratings performance in Singapore for the past six months since its debut and we can’t wait for this success to be amplified on MNC Vision,” said Avi Himatsinghani, CEO of Rewind Networks. “The success of HITS MOVIES is a testament to the strong demand from pay-TV viewers for solidly-curated playlists at a value that is reasonable to them,” he added. “We believe that HITS MOVIES would complete the ever growing subscribers’ demand on engaging and entertaining contents for them to enjoy quality time with families, watching their all-time favourite shows.” said Iris Wee, chief of content and commercial officer of MNC Vision Networks.
