Pizza Hut Singapore has appointed Juliana Lim as general manager of its operations in Singapore.

Prior to this appointment, Lim served as senior director, marketing and innovations at KFC for over nine years. In her time with KFC, the team had boosted sales and embraced new industry trends such as efforts to support sustainability as well as introducing immersive brand experiences and digital innovations.

Lim was also senior marketing director for Pizza Hut Singapore for a decade before joining KFC.

Meanwhile, Lim's other past roles include marketing manager at Fonterra, senior product manager at Malaysia Dairy Industries and channel category manager at Sara Lee Singapore.

“I am humbled and excited to return to the Pizza Hut brand after nine years and be given the opportunity to participate in the growth and transformation journey of such an iconic brand," said Lim in a statement seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE.

"I look forward to building on the great work done by the team and leverage my experience to support the brand’s further growth," she added.

In her new role, Lim will grow the brand and bring it to greater heights.

“Lim has grown with our Pizza Hut and KFC brands in Singapore and achieved much over her near two decades with us. An award-winning practitioner, she is tremendously passionate about the brand, and we’re excited for her to take on this new role as head of Pizza Hut Singapore to grow the brand and bring it to greater heights." said Nehchal Khanna, CEO and managing director of QSR Brands.

Lim's appointment follows the retirement of Paddy Rangappa, who was general manager with Pizza Hut Singapore for over six years.

“At the same time, I’ll like to thank Paddy Rangappa for over six years of leadership with the team which saw us through tough times during COVID-19 as he provided guidance with resilience and integrity. We thank Rangappa for his invaluable contributions and wish him a fulfilling and joyful retirement,” added Khanna.

Lim is not the only new leader to have joined QSR Brands. Earlier in June, QSR Brands appointed Anis Yusof as its new group chief communications officer.

Anis has over 20 years of experience in multiple fields including airline, hotel, media and broadcasting, retail, property development and government-linked companies, according to her LinkedIn.

Prior to joining QSR Brands, Anis was the head of corporate communications and branding at UEM Sunrise for a year and one month.

She also held the role of SVP, head of government affairs and public policy and head of PR and communications at Lazada where she started as its SVP, head of government affairs and public policy in 2021.
