As MD in PHD, she was in-charge of leading the agency, focusing on building PHD's global strategic planning unit as well as enhancing service offerings both locally and regionally. Prior to that, Ang was partner at M2M Singapore, a full service media network under Omnicom Media Group. Ang has over 16 years of local and international experience spanning Singapore, Taiwan and China and has led a variety of global, regional and local accounts.Under her leadership in 2017, the agency entered its tenth year in the APAC region as a transformed one. After powering the Asia leg of the Volkswagen Group media pitch – one of the biggest media pitches in history, the agency fully transitioned into the business in 2017 and grew the Singapore office’s remit by adding on Porsche, Bentley and Lamborghini retainers to its portfolio. It also won the global business for Resorts World Sentosa, one of the biggest integrated resorts in this part of the world. This win, together with other esteemed clients such as Property Guru Group, Far East Organization and Great Eastern Life, powered its overall new business growth. It also launched four new business units to diversify its business offerings. This includes engaging content solutions, including dynamic creative optimisation from PHD Studios; a more robust data and analytics offering with PHD Analytics, in partnership with Annalect; as well as bespoke data-driven solutions with digitisation expertise from PHD programmatic and PHD e-commerce.Ranga Somanathan, CEO of Omnicom Media Group Singapore & Malaysia added that over the past five years, Ang played an integral role in taking PHD Singapore to new heights, reaching its current market-leading position.“She has grown the agency from a team of 35 when she joined, to become a powerhouse of over 100 of the industry’s finest talent, all of whom live and breathe PHD’s unique culture. Throughout her tenure, the agency has developed a strong reputation among clients and industry bodies during this time. After having accomplished so much, it is understandable that Ang has decided the time has come to take on new challenges, and we wish her all the best in her future endeavours,” Somanathan said.
