Officeworks adds 170 in-store screens to national retail media network

Retail media continues to expand its footprint, with Officeworks the latest to grow its retail media network by adding 170 in-store digital screens nationwide.

The rollout follows a successful trial in key stores and builds on Officeworks’ existing retail media offering, which provides brands with a mix of owned and paid media opportunities.

The expanded network is backed by oOh Media’s retail media arm reo, which recently supported the in-store expansion of Australia Post and PetAds' retail media offering.

Jessica Richmond, Officeworks general manager of customer and online, said the new screens will create more opportunities for brands to connect with customers at scale.

“This evolution of our retail media network will provide our customers with an improved in-store experience and give brand partners the opportunity to connect with them at scale,” Richmond said.

“We’ve seen a strong response from suppliers to our current retail media offering so we're excited to now give them and new brand partners access to digital screens across our store network nationally,” Richmond said. 

Installation is underway, with the full network set to go live by March 2025.
