With citizens around the world being advised to stay at home as much as possible and perform social distancing, many of them have decided to exercise at home. To support these communities worldwide, Nike has rolled out two hashtags on the internet: #PlayInside and #PlayForTheWorld.
In Hong Kong, Nike has worked with several athletes and influencers to encourage the public to exercise at home. For example, boxer Rex Tso and footballer Yapp Hung Fai have shared images or videos of training at home on their respective Instagram accounts.
Meanwhile, stylist Hilary Tsui and former journalist Ryan Lau have also released photos or videos of exercising indoors.
The campaign in Hong Kong is part of Nike’s global initiative to support its employees, communities, and athletes impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic. International athletes include Cristiano Ronaldo, who has posted several indoor training images lately, Simona Halep, and Tiger Woods.
