Mount Faber Leisure Group (MFLG) is on the hunt for a new public relations (PR) agency. The retainer is for a period of two years, with an option to extend for an additional year. The tender will close on 20 December 2024.
According to Tracy Lui, senior assistant director, marketing communications and retail of MFLG, there will be an open pitch, with only one agency chosen. In addition, the chosen agency is expected to deliver strategic counsel, content development for earned media and crisis communications support.
"This year has been a successful landmark year for us, highlighted by the celebration of the Singapore Cable Car’s 50th anniversary and the launch of the SkyOrb Cabin – the world’s first chrome-finished spherical cable car," said Lui.
"As we look ahead to 2025, we are seeking a PR agency to help us build on this momentum, sharpen our strategic communications with the goal of driving revenue growth for our products," Lui added.

MFLG was last with PRecious Communications for its PR duties.
Meanwhile, on the media front, the group recently appointed PurpleClick in October 2023. Prior to that, the group worked with Hybrid Theory back in October 2022 after a pitch held in July of the same year. Lui had explained during appointment that the agency was selected because of its strong data capabilities and media data network.
"The valuable data-driven insights that Hybrid Theory brings will help us to optimise our business strategy, giving us the critical edge in an increasingly competitive post-pandemic tourism landscape," Lui explained. Incumbent Havas Media did not participate in the tender.
