Mirum Thailand has appointed Tawin Tusnajareon as its managing director. In his role, Tusnajareon (pictured) is responsible for steering the company strategically in the digital transformation race. Following the appointment of Tusnajareon, Mirum Thailand will be accelerating its tech and creativity integration to create solutions for its international and local brands, said the agency. At the same time, the agency aims to connect with its consumers effectively through the delivery of enriched experiences across all platforms.

As managing director, Tusnajareon said he would use his management experience and new digital strategies to step up the agency's offering, delivering innovative tech and data-driven creative campaigns.

Before Mirum, Tusnajareon spent three years at digital lifestyle and loyalty platform, The 1, as its head of technology. Prior to joining The 1, he was helming the delivery lead in Accenture Digital, Thailand. As delivery lead, he was responsible for designing and developing digital innovations related to mobility, analytics, digital marketing and eCommerce, said his LinkedIn. Tusnajareon also led the digital team in delivering projects that improved the clients' productivity, optimising the operations in effective ways.

With more than 20 years of experience under his belt, Tusnajareon is skilled in marketing communication, strategic planning, consultancy, especially in areas of business and digital transformation including mobility, big data and analytics, eCommerce, digital marketing and cloud computing. Throughout his career, he has led projects for global Thai brands in key industries such as banking, insurance, retail, energy, F&B, healthcare, tourism, and government organisations, among others. His other skills also include writing and being an analyst on business and digital transformation topics, said the agency.

"I believe that the marriage between technology and creativity will spawn fresh takes on marketing, especially ideas that are based on consumer insights, cutting-edge innovation, and technology, as well as informative content and rich storytelling styles," he explained. Bringing them together on platforms that reach target audiences accurately, the agency is able to help brands create stronger impacts from their marketing activation, added Tusnajareon.

Tusnajareon cited a report from Hootsuite and We are Social, titled Digital 2022: Global Overview Report, which said that Thailand's Internet penetration stood at 77.8% of the total population. "These figures speak the trend that Thais are living and working more and more digitally," he said. As a digital agency, he added that it had to stay strategically ahead of the ever-changing digital landscape. By doing so, the agency would be able to harness up-and-coming innovations and technologies that will click with the consumers.
