Marché Mövenpick is ceasing operations today 11 years after it first opened in Plaza Senayan. Its current outlet is located in Jakarta's Lippo Mall Puri. "We want to thank you for [your] patronage, loyalty and support [over] the past few years. We are extremely grateful to have had the chance to meet, serve, and build relationships and memories with many of our loyal guests. We will miss serving you at Marché," the post said. However, Marché said it will return with a new restaurant brand at the end of the year. According to Indonesian national newspaper Kompas, the new brand is BOU Bakery and Dining. Marketing Interactive has reached out to Marché for comment.

Marché Mövenpick is present in 10 countries with over 80 locations, including Singapore, Hungary, Austria, Croatia and Germany. It is part of the Mövenpick Group which has Mövenpick Wein, Mövenpick Restaurants, and Mövenpick of Switzerland, and is headquartered in Switzerland.
