Magnolia grows ANZ presence with new Sydney office

Digital experience platform Magnolia has launched its new office in Sydney as part of its plan to increase its presence in the Australia-New Zealand market. The new office coincides with Magnolia's recent hire James Hirka (pictured right), who is GM for ANZ and VP of digital experience for Magnolia APAC. It also came five months after the launch of its office in Hong Kong

Magnolia’s Sydney office is strategically located in the central business district, and the launch was officiated by channel manager Florian Sacharuk (pictured left), head of partner management and technology alliances Tim Schwarz (pictured second from left), APAC MD Don Lee (pictured second from right), and Hirka.

Hirka explained that businesses in the ANZ market are recognising the need to deliver engaging and personalised content experiences to their customers.“This has led to a demand for more best-of-breed composable DXP solutions and we aim to provide them with the capabilities they need,” he added.

Meanwhile, Lee explained that launching a new office in Sydney is only natural, given that the company has both customers and partners in ANZ. With the appointment of Hirka as the regional GM and his strong delivery experience, the company is building a team whose key focus is on project success and empowering customers to deliver digital experiences. "We are thrilled about this expansion and believe this will assuage our clients’ needs for local support and partnering with a truly global provider," Lee said.

Magnolia already has a presence throughout the Asia Pacific region, with offices in Singapore, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Bangkok, Shanghai, and Shenzhen, as part of its Asia growth strategy. Some of Magnolia’s clients within the region include Toshiba, HiSense, NCS Group, CNN Philippines and SP Group.

When Magnolia opened two new offices in Shenzhen and Bangkok last year, Lee also told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE then that the company is planning to enter the Malaysia market in 2022. Months later in March this year, the comapny opened its office in Jakarta as part of its deepen its presence in the APAC region.  Alongside the launch, the team also rolled out its first Indonesian website to meet the growing demands for enterprise content management systems and composable DXP solutions in the region.
