LEGOLAND, Listerine and OREO pick new creative comms and PR agency

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, Listerine Malaysia and OREO Malaysia and Singapore have picked Mad Hat Asia as their new creative communications and public relations agency. 

LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has signed a year-long retainer with Mad Hat Asia Singapore. Through 2024, the agency will drive awareness for the various LEGOLAND experiences to the Singapore audience.

"Teaming up with Mad Hat Asia Singapore presents limitless possibilities. Together, we foresee a year brimming with adventure and cherished memories, as we introduce our incredible experiences to the Singaporean community," said Thila Munusamy, director of sales and marketing, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. 

Additionally, Listerine Malaysia has joined forces with Mad Hat Asia. Mad Hat Asia will be managing Listerine Malaysia's Facebook and Instagram platforms, as well as amplify the brand's message through strategic digital initiatives. Mad Hat Asia also aims to drive positive behavioural change among consumers.

OREO Malaysia and Singapore have also renewed its partnership with Mad Hat Asia.  

Last year's project with OREO saw the release of Blackpink limited-edition cookies. Whereas this year saw the release of OREO Pokémon collectible series with in-store, on-ground and digital activations. 

"Returning for another exciting campaign, OREO Malaysia and Singapore eagerly await the magic Mad Hat Asia brings to our partnership. Together, we are set to elevate the brand to new heights, bringing more playful moments to Malaysia," said an OREO spokesperson in the release. 

"As Mad Hat’s understanding of the brand deepens, we unveil a deeper working relationship, aiming to captivate fans with the enchanting OREO Pokémon series and other epic campaigns, spreading joy and excitement across both countries.”

The Pokémon-themed cookies collection launched in February this year. 

It featured embossed images of 16 Pokémon such as Pikachu, Charmander, Rowlet and Jigglypuff to name a few on cookies that come in vanilla and chocolate strawberry flavours. Fans can also collect 16 different OREO Pokémon photocard with every purchase of the multipack.

In a bid to bring the world of Pokémon to life, some of the OREO Pokémon cookies will be harder for collectors to find than others with the Mew cookie being the hardest to find.
