Kura Kura Bali to get boost in tech ecosystem via 3-way partnership

Kura Kura Bali (KKB), a development area in Bali, Indonesia that encompasses tourism, lifestyle, commercial and technology, will soon see the development of a tech ecosystem as a result of a collaboration among VIZZIO Technologies, Bali Turtle Island Development and GTech Digital Asia.

The three parties will jointly establish a startup development in KKB, including joint cooperation with potential third parties in Indonesia, through incubation, financial support and training. VIZZIO will provide its skills to GTech Digital Asia to contribute to the e-learning technology, training and education content development in KKB and explore the potential collaboration to contribute to a training data scientist programme. This will be done by assuring cloud platform capacity and other machine learning skills to develop and strengthen human resources skills in data science.

KKB is a 500-hectare canvas nurtured and developed to boldly paint the future island for happiness and welcomes investment projects and collaboration in leveraging Bali's global branding in the New Era Roadmap. The master development team for KKB or Turtle Island Development is under the Giti Group, which was founded in the 1930s, with interests in real estate, manufacturing, retail and development and natural resource development in Asia Pacific.

“We are delighted to bring technological excellence to this partnership for future development which will embrace smarter solutions for a more liveable and responsive world. We continue to apply our ability to make an impact on spatial environments by collaborating with organisations and corporations internationally,” Jon Lee, CEO and founder of VIZZIO Technologies said.

Lee explained VIZZIO's constant stream of satellite imagery collected daily or sub-daily allows the company to model and monitor large to small locations around the globe consistently, as demonstrated by the recency and accuracy of VIZZIO's Kura Kura Bali Island 3D model. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to VIZZIO Technologies for more information.

VIZZIO Technologies is a Singapore-based, AI modelling and visualisation company that wants to democratise and simplify 3D. Among its list of clients include the Singapore Civil Defense Force, Government Technology Agency of Singapore, National University of Singapore and SMRT Corporation as well as Singapore-based companies such as CapitaLand, SATS, StarHub, and DP Architects, among others.

Meanwhile, GTech Digital Asia was established in early 2017 and has been focusing on building end-to-end consumer digital engagement platforms. It has been working with Mitra Adiperkasa since 2018 and its range of services includes coalition loyalty solutions, digital payment solutions, and big data analytics.
