Kantar Millward Brown names regional head of media

Global insights consultancy Kantar Millward Brown has appointed Pablo Gómez Martínez as regional head of media for Asia Pacific. Martínez will take up the position in May, based out of Singapore.Martínez joins from IPG Mediabrands, where he was regional communications planning director for APAC, responsible for the strategy and comms planning for regional clients including J&J, Cerebos-Suntory, Exxon Mobile and Coca-Cola. Prior to this he worked for Millward Brown in Spain and London from 2003 to 2011.Martínez’ background in both research agencies and media agencies has provided him with a far-reaching understanding on the client challenges around campaign development, execution and measurement. In his new role, he will lead teams across the region to deliver insights and solutions that optimise brand, marketing and media performance for clients across digital and non-digital channels.Gonzalo Fuentes, CEO, global media and digital practice, Kantar, said: “Pablo has fantastic experience in advising clients on their media and digital strategies across the region. He has worked with a host of multinational businesses to develop new research methods that provide the key insights needed to make critical business decisions.
