Jollibee Group is redefining the milk tea experience in the Philippines with the launch of Milksha's first-ever standalone concept store at SM North EDSA, Quezon City.
The concept store aims to offer an authentic Taiwanese milk tea experience, featuring over 30 premium speciality drinks, including fruit-infused beverages, Jollibee announced.
Each drink is crafted using traditional Taiwanese brewing techniques and globally sourced ingredients. Known as Milkshop in Taiwan, Milksha also has a strong presence in Hong Kong, the UK, and Australia, with its signature honey pearls as a standout feature. Its store count has reached 336.
Previously, Milksha was only available in select Chowking stores in the Philippines.

"Milk tea has become such a big part of Filipino daily lives. What makes Milksha well-positioned for this market is its dedication to using fresh and premium natural ingredients and crafting unique, refreshing flavours that can capture the evolving taste buds of Filipino milk tea lovers," said Joseph Tanbuntiong, CEO of Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC).
The store is designed with a minimalist aesthetic and warm, earthy tones. To ensure an authentic experience, its tea baristas have undergone specialised training in Taiwan, Jollibee said. Its bestsellers include the Signature 3Q Milk Tea, Strawberry Coulis Milk, and Jasmine Green Tea with Cloudy Cream.
Milksha founder and CEO Peter Huang expressed excitement about the brand's expansion: "I thank all of the partners joining this project. We look forward to expanding, providing more jobs, and making every milk tea lover happier with every cup."
"Our company culture has always been all about transparent and extraordinary customer service, that customers in all our global stores keep coming back to us, and that is what we intend to replicate here in the Philippines," said Chris Chao, COO of Milksha Global.
"We're very happy to have Milksha in our Jollibee Group family. Milksha's choice ingredients and innovation bring something genuinely delightful to our customers," said Ernesto Tanmantiong, Jollibee Group's global CEO.
Jollibee Group acquired a majority stake in Milksha in 2021. It also introduced the first Tiong Bahru Bakery in the Philippines, marking the Singaporean bakery's first international expansion.
Meanwhile, earlier this month, reports indicated that the JFC is set to acquire a 70% stake in Taiwanese wellness soup brand Moon Moon Food through Milksha.
