Indosat Ooredoo has launched a campaign titled #BisaBangkitBersama (which loosely translates to "We can rise up together"). The campaign, which will run for one month, features the real stories of its employees who continue to rise to the challenge of carrying out the company’s mission to build trust and connect the entire nation. This comes as Indosat Ooredoo attributed its recent achievements to the hard work and contribution of its employees who have adapted to the changes and continue to serve during the difficult times.

In a one and a half minute long spot, Indosat Ooredoo featured four different employees continually working to serve its customers despite the new changes brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic. One employee is seen working from home while simultaneously taking care of her children, while another travels to different parts of Indonesia to physically meet brand partners.

"Every day, thousands of people at Indosat Ooredoo embark on a mission; a mission to turn every second into opportunity. The opportunity to defy limitations to achieve the impossible, and to reach the unreachable" the narrator in the video said. Through the film, Indosat Ooredoo wanted to show that limitations that arise amid the pandemic do not prevent it from continuously improving service quality to meet the rapidly rising communication and digital demands. The film will be featured as a TV commercial across Indonesia and on Indosat Ooredoo’s social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Indosat Ooredoo worked with creative agency Mata Angin for the campaign.

In statement to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Ritesh Kumar Singh, chief commercial officer, Indosat Ooredoo said the film hopes to bring positive impact to its staff as well. "Internally, we hope to instill pride and positivity within each Indosat Ooredoo employee. The last year has shown that nothing is too difficult for Indosat Ooredoo, and as a company, we should continue striving and rising up together to achieve even greater success."

"I am very proud to say that thousands of Indosat Ooredoo’s employees have brought significant contribution to making it happen, so that Indosat Ooredoo #BisaBangkitBersama and spread the spirit of development," he added. Indosat Ooredoo's campaign aims to not only thank its thousands of employees, but also to inspire and encourage everyone to move forward to awaken Indonesia, Singh said.

Indosat Ooredoo's campaign comes as the telco celebrates its achievements in 2020 despite that challenges COVID-19 brought upon. The telco was most recently named the sixth fastest growing telecoms brand globally, and saw its brand value increased by 31% in 2020. Separately, Indosat Ooredoo also saw a 6.9% increase in total revenue in 2020, amounting to IDR 27.9 trillion. It recorded a 11.6% increase in cellular revenue to IDR 23.1 trillion, and saw its cellular subscriber numbers grew by 1.7% to 60.3 million by end of 2020.
