Salary scale for marketing professionals in Indonesia in 2022

According to Robert Walters' salary guide 2022, 72% of businesses in Indonesia are giving pay rises, while 69% of sales and marketing professionals in Indonesia are expecting to rise their salaries. The top three jobs in the marketing industry are in digital marketing, customer experience and relationship manager, and business development manager. All three roles have an abundance of talent within the market.
However, the average tenure in Indonesia is only a year, and a whopping 91% of professionals indicated that they would be looking for a new job throughout the year. Around 84% of professionals are confident about their job opportunities.
Moreover, Indonesia's job market in 2022 seems promising and aplenty in Indonesian fintech companies and in order to market their work, marketing becomes an essential core for them and other businesses, even if they are B2C or B2B businesses - marketing directors are in the top 10 positions for earning the most salaries in Indonesia, as they're required to be knowledgable in different departments and come up with comprehensible campaigns, reported Michael Page. In addition, there will be greater demand for head of sales, product managers and senior marketing managers.
On the other coin, 56% of HR staff and hiring managers said that they plan to increase the salaries of employees in Indonesia based on research conducted for January 2022, In addition, 68% of respondents in Indonesia prefer to prioritise their mental health, rather than their salary. Sales and marketing professionals are in low demand because it's fairly easy to employ them, especially in digital marketing according to the report.
