i-CABLE Communications has appointed Wong See-yuen as CEO, effective from 7 March 2022. Currently a senior advisor of the group and CEO of subsidiary i-CABLE Network Operations, Wong is responsible for the general operations of i-CABLE Communications in his new position. A statement provided by i-CABLE Communications has shown that Wong's monthly salary is HK$280,000. He is also entitled to performance-based discretionary bonus and other benefits determined by the company.

Wong is also currently a board member of Ocean Park Corporation, a mentor for Cyberport Mentorship Services and a member of the Social Enterprise Advisory Committee for the Hong Kong government.

Prior to joining the group, Wong co-founded Dory Network Technology, a social enterprise focusing on using design and technology to create impact globally, in August 2019. Its products include the Me2you app that facilitates idle items sharing, and "newgig.me", a platform helping people find their next fulfilling move or career.

From September 2018 to August 2019, he was director of strategic business development for Swire Coca-Cola, where he charted strategy for vending, smart retail, digital partnership and customer engagement portal for China. From July 2011 to August 2018, Wong was CEO of Asia Miles. He was responsible for managing and growing the rewards programme of over 11 million members and more than 700 business partners worldwide. He joined Cathay Pacific Airways as a management trainee in 1998 and has been with the airline group in various management positions living and working in Hong Kong, the US, Singapore, Japan and Vietnam.

i-Cable Communications is currently controlled by New World Development chairman Henry Cheng Kar-shun. According to a stock exchange filing from i-Cable, Cheng's wholly-owned company Celestial Pioneer had agreed to pay a total of HK$208.9 million to purchase shares from David Chiu Tat-cheong, chairman of the company's board, who owned 24.5% shares of Forever Top, and another major sharholder Li Sze-Lim, who owned 16% shares of Forever Top.

After the completion of the deal, Celestial Pioneer's stake in Forever Top went up from 31.5% to 72%. Together with 14% of stares owned by a subsidiary of Chow Tai Fook, of which Cheng is the chairman, Cheng will hold an 86% of shares in Forever Top, which owns 43.2 percent of i-Cable.
