Hong Kong Tramways hands ad contract to Cody

Cody outdoor international (Hong Kong) has secured a big win over tram shelters advertising concession, and will be representing Hong Kong Tramways on all advertising bookings for a five-year period starting 1 May, 2017.This means the tram company is going to end its long-standing partnership with its former exclusive media contracting agency of tram shelters POAD since 2004.According to Emmanuel Vivant, managing director of Hong Kong Tramways, Cody’s proposal is "innovative with the enthusiasm and expertise". "We are very enthusiastic and have great expectations with Cody’s ideas to go on protecting and elevating the tram shelters, a key component of the Hong Kong Tramways and network."Sammy Choi, general manager of Cody, said: "We are proud and honored of the trust placed upon Cody to operate and enhance HK Tramway’s tram shelter network and looking forward to a successful long term partnership. We are committed to adapting and transforming the tram shelters into engaging outdoor advertising vehicles through state-of- the-art innovation, creating meaningful connections between brands and consumers."Cody is a wholly owned subsidiary of APN news and media limited.
