Hill+Knowlton Strategies' financial communications director departs to join Raffles Family Office

Hill+Knowlton Strategies’ financial communications director Agnes Suen (pictured) has left the company to join Raffles Family Office as head of marketing and communications. She will be reporting directly to Kwan Chi Man, group CEO of Raffles Family Office. 

In her new position, Suen is responsible for overseeing marketing and communications strategies in the APAC region, covering Hong Kong, Singapore, mainland China, and Taiwan. She also leads the management of media relations, marketing events, digital marketing, and social media.

Suen has 15 years of extensive experience fusing financial and corporate PR expertise, according to her LinkedIn. With extensive knowledge of the capital market and strong ties with the media, Suen has served clients from a range of industries, including financial institutions, professional services, fintech, cryptocurrency, biopharmaceutical, and government organisations.

Suen first joined Hill+Knowlton Strategies in 2013 as account director. She left the company after four years and came back in 2022 as financial communications director, where she was missioned to tell stories that resonates. She was also dedicated to providing necessary counselling across different types of communications for her clients on both local and regional levels.

Back in October last year, Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K) promoted Angela Kung and Madison Wai as its vice president of financial communications and vice president of corporate communications respectively.

As co-general manager of H+K Hong Kong, Kung and Wai will partner to lead the firm’s business development and operations in Hong Kong. Being the leadership group of H+K Greater Bay Area, Kung, Wai and Emily Yin, senior vice president of H+K Strategies China and general manager of H+K Southern China all report to Jun Xu, CEO, H+K China, on their collective responsibility to drive operational integration and continued growth in the sub-region.
