Hepmil Media Group appoints Ferdi Salim as general manager for ID

Digital creator agency Hepmil Media Group, has appointed Ferdi Salim as the new general manager for Indonesia. He will lead both the Hepmil Creators’ Network and Bent Pixels Asia.

Salim will oversee the development of Bent Pixels Asia which is the sports and gaming subsidiary of Hepmil that focuses on revenue acceleration on YouTube and the Hepmil Creators’ Network that aims to connect advertisers with popular social media creators in Southeast Asia.

The Hepmil Creators’ Network comprises of the companies SGAG and SGEEK for the Singapore market, MGAG, for the Malaysia market, PGAG for the Philippines market and MRCI for the Indonesia market.

“With his track record and deep market knowledge, we are excited to be building Hepmil Indonesia with him,” said Karl Mak, the co-founder and CEO at Hepmil Media Group on LinkedIn.

Based in Jakarta, Salim is experienced in the field of influencer marketing as he was previously the country manager for Indonesia at influencer hiring automation platform Tellscore that connects brands and agencies to influencers and content creators from 2022 to 2023. Tellscore has worked with clients such as Shopee, Traveloka and Nestle to name a few.

Before his role at Tellscore, Salim was the general manager of multi-channel networks at influencer marketing company Famous Allstars Indonesia.

Just last year, cable service provider Link Net partnered with digital creator agency Hepmil Media Indonesia to open up collaboration opportunities for entrepreneurs to introduce their brands and interact more closely with millennial and Gen Z customers in Indonesia.

In addition to optimising cable TV and fixed broadband Internet services, as well as connectivity and ICT solutions, the company continues to expand its media services. Through this collaboration with Hepmil Media Group, Link Net can offer advertising space on YouTube Reserved Media and TikTok Branded Content in addition to providing exposure and expand target reach of Link Net’s customers through First Media’s advertising inventory.
