GrabAds joins Digital Marketing Asia 2022 as headline sponsor

GrabAds has come on board MARKETING-INTERACTIVE’s Digital Marketing Asia 2022 as the headline sponsor. As headline sponsors, Dave Yang, regional head of brand engagement at Grab will take to stage on 16 November to share insights on the topic of "Eat, shop, ride, repeat: Optimising real customer data to get reach that matters." He will also be on a panel discussion speaking on “Anonymous vs permission-based personalisation: Finding the perfect data in the customer lifecycle to drive personalisation.”
GrabAds enables marketers to take advantage of the superapp ecosystem to build brand and drive sales through in-app advertising, product sampling, fleet activations and more. Its clients include names such as Coca-Cola, Unilever, McDonald’s, and Starbucks.
Ken Mandel, regional managing director and head of GrabAds and Brand Insights at Grab, said that when it comes to digital marketing, Southeast Asia is charting a fundamentally different path from Western markets.
“In many cases, there is no playbook: we need to write it together as an industry. The key for marketers is understanding how to make the most of the region’s emerging digital channels and young population to drive impact for their brand and their business,” said Mandel.
