GrabAds hires new Indonesia head

GrabAds has named Rajiv Singh (pictured) as head of GrabAds for Indonesia. In his new role, Singh will spearhead GrabAds’ Indonesia sales strategy and business development and drive demand for GrabAds’ advertising services among merchants, brands, and agencies.
Bringing more than 20 years of experience in digital advertising and monetisation, Singh previously held senior roles at companies such as Sony Pictures, Flipkart and Star TV among others across both India and Indonesia.

Most recently, he led digital ad sales, distribution and sponsorship sales for Indonesia at Viu, a leading OTT video streaming service, where he was responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s brand advertiser base.
In his new role, Singh will report to Dave Yang, regional head of direct sales and GTM, GrabAds.
In a statement on Linkedin, Singh said, “I am thrilled to share that I’ve joined the GrabAds team as the new head of Indonesia. I believe we’ve barely scratched the surface of this opportunity here, so I’m really looking forward to enabling every business - from global MNCs to local merchants from more than 300 cities in Indonesia - to grow their brand and drive sales on our platform.”
