Grab has launched a monthly subscription programme called GrabClub. Currently piloting, the programme aims to help users save on everyday services. This comes as GrabClub looks to provide users with a variety of subscription passes, as part of Grab’s Better Everyday commitment to improve the customer experience and bring more value to users.“In the past many months, we have introduced a series of product enhancements, made GrabRewards more rewarding for our most loyal customers and expanded the SCORE subscription programme to improve our users’ core experience. Today we’re taking another step to bring more value to our customers with the launch of GrabClub,” Lim Kell Jay, head of Grab Singapore said. With GrabClub, Lim said that the team aims to offer a selection of monthly passes for Grab’s everyday services, for customers to self-select a pass that best suits their needs."With this pilot, we hope to gather feedback and fine-tune the All-Access Pass further to ensure it hits the sweet spot for our customers in terms of relevance and value, before rolling it out to all customers. At the end of the day, we want to help our users save on everyday services that matter to them, whenever they want, however they like,” he added. In addition, AsiaMalls management has chosen GrabPay as its preferred payment service provider across AsiaMalls’ network of six heartland shopping malls island wide beginning January 2019. Through this, AsiaMalls and Grab aim to explore opportunities to drive a more in-depth collaboration on both loyalty programmes to enhance synergy and bring more value to shoppers. The malls that will establish the cashless payment option are Hougang Mall, Liang Court, Tiong Bahru Plaza, White Sands, Tampines 1 and Century Square. AsiaMalls also aims to introduce privileges, perks and rewards from as early as Chinese New Year next year in a bid to enhance the shopping experience. This partnership is also expected to extend GrabPay’s reach and leverage its innovation to enhance the shopping experience of AsiaMalls shoppers through special GrabRewards and AMperkz benefits. AMperkz, AsiaMalls’ rewards programme, allows shoppers to earn points and redeem member benefits such as shopping vouchers and carpark redemptions.“As heartland malls, we are community gathering places where friends and families come together for their everyday shopping and dining needs. We see much synergy in this integration with GrabPay to satisfy shoppers’ need for speed, security and convenience. This is a win-win partnership for us. Together, we’re able to provide a more seamless and rewarding way for our shoppers to make purchases. We’re excited to be partnering with a trusted brand to drive adoption of a more cashless culture in Singapore,” AsiaMalls Management managing director Tan Kee Yong said.“Grab believes in taking a collaborative approach to encourage e-payments adoption in Singapore. We are excited to partner with AsiaMalls, who shares our vision of a cashless society, to drive mass adoption of GrabPay within the heartlands. Today, over 6,000 merchants accept GrabPay and over 80% of Grab users in Singapore are using GrabPay for various services.
