Far East Hospitality reappoints ADK Connect for PR and social duties

Far East Hospitality has reappointed ADK Connect Singapore for the sixth consecutive year. The agency will oversee PR duties, social media strategy and management and content planning for Far East Hospitality's corporate accounts.

Ernawati Setjio, head of marketing communications, Far East Hospitality said that having an invaluable strategic partner that understands its goals and internal processes was an integral decision to continue its partnership with the ADK Connect team.

"In the last two years, Far East Hospitality had continued with our expansion plan of five hotels in Singapore and regionally, while battling the challenges brought about by the pandemic. During this period, we worked closely with the ADK team to restructure our storytelling approach, and our efforts have resulted in an increase in FEH’s brand exposure," she added.

Far East Hospitality and ADK Connect took the pandemic and heightened restrictions as an opportunity to distinguish Far East from its competitors. The team developed a structured calendar that maps to the Singapore Tourism Board’s recovery direction: sustain, recover, and transform. They then executed an integrated marketing approach that leveraged public relations and social media marketing to communicate key messages of positivity and hope for the hospitality and tourism industry. The collective effort won the team a gold award for the communications and PR category at MARKETING-INTERACTIVE's Marketing Excellence Awards 2021.

Adeline Lee, head of PR, ADK Connect Singapore, said that the agency is humbled to be working with Far East Hospitality for another year. "The last two years have been challenging for the hospitality industry and we are glad to be able to redefine and support FEH in their expansion and growth plans. We are excited and are looking forward to exploring new content angles and narratives for FEH in 2022," she added.

Last month, Far East Hospitality also tapped on tech and creative digital marketing agency Bray Leino Splash Singapore as its web development and UX agency for two years. The agency is tasked with enhancing the existing digital experience of their customers and will be utilising its Sitecore expertise to create best-in-class UX for Far East Hospitality's customers.

Separately, ADK Connect Singapore appointed former CEO of advertising agency FALCON, Kelvin Koo, as managing director last January. In his new role, Koo is responsible for the growth strategy of the agency's Singapore office, developing new offerings in consulting and digital solutions focused on direct-to-consumer. To achieve this, the agency taps on Koo's expertise and experience to integrate its offerings across creative and production, performance media, data analytics, social, content and lifecycle automation. According to Koo, the goal is for the agency to offer solutions that connect marketing performance and customer experiences to business results.
