Eco-Shop Malaysia picks new PR agency

Household retailer Eco-shop Malaysia has picked PR and digital communications agency SLPR Worldwide to handle its communications efforts. 

The agency plans to develop innovative, purpose-driven campaigns that resonate with Eco-shop’s diverse customer base. Focused on strategic storytelling and community-centric initiatives, SLPR is committed to supporting Eco-shop forge deeper connections with Malaysians and achieve new heights of success, it said in a statement. It added that the new partnership is effective Q4 2024.

“We chose SLPR for their expertise and passion for impactful communication. With SLPR’s expertise, we are confident in our ability to broaden our message and connect with even more communities nationwide, ensuring access to affordable, quality essentials for all,” said Eco-Shop Malaysia’s CEO, Jessica Ng.

“We are thrilled to welcome Eco-shop, whose commitment to offering accessible products during economic challenges aligns with our agency’s mission to support brands that genuinely make a difference,” said Leon Tang, senior partner and group chief operating officer (Southeast Asia) at SLPR Worldwide.

“Our team is eager to work alongside Eco-shop to elevate their brand presence and showcase their exceptional achievements and unique value proposition,” Tang added. 

Last year, LG Electronics Malaysia (LG) and Love Bonito Malaysia appointed SLPR Worldwide to handle its PR duties. The appointment will last one year with the possibility of an extension, said SLPR when MARKETING-INTERACTIVE reached out at the time.
