Domino's Pizza MY tosses social media remit to Havas

Domino's Pizza Malaysia has handed its social media remit to Havas Malaysia. 

Havas Malaysia will be overseeing the brand's always-on strategies, activations and influencer marketing initiatives, it said in a statement. This decision to extend the remit follows the longstanding relationship between Domino's Pizza, Socialyse Singapore and Havas Play.

“We have been working with the Singapore team for a long time now and have been consistently impressed by their creative and integrated solutions. We have also seen how this model has worked seamlessly across both Singapore and Malaysia”, shared Linda Hassan, group chief marketing officer of Domino’s Pizza Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia.

“The energy and creativity demonstrated by the Havas Malaysia team as well as their in-depth knowledge of social media trends and the ability shown to deliver strategies that are both meaningful and results oriented thoroughly impressed us. We are glad to extend this partnership and look forward to working with the team," she added. 

The social media retainer win is attributed to the close integration and collaboration across the Havas Villages, notably between Singapore and Malaysia, it said. 

This expanded remit not only signifies the deepening of the relationship, but also opens doors to new possibilities and challenge, it added.

Domino's Pizza is not the only remit Havas has scored in recent times. Earlier in April, Hong Kong Football Club (HKFC)/Standard Chartered Soccer Sevens 2024 appointed Havas Play and Havas Social to manage the event management and social media duties.

With its experience in managing sports events such as the HKFC Tradition Rugby 10s, Havas will be tasked at orchestrating a seamless experience for soccer enthusiasts, players, and fans alike. Havas Play and Havas Social will work together to manage the entire event, secure sponsors and amplify the messaging through social media.
