Circles.Life taps Pokémon to unveil travel subscription offering

Circles.Life is tapping on Pokémon to introduce its travel subscription product. Through the Dare to Roam activation, Singaporeans are dared to showcase their travel muscles through a series of specially designed, travel-themed stamp-collecting challenges.
From identifying silhouettes of Pokémon to seeking lost luggages, the themed stamp-collecting adventure contains up to six specially designed travel challenges that allow consumers to experience different facets of Circles.Life and Pokémon. The challenge takes place on 30 October from 9am to 6pm at *SCAPE Singapore and also includes various festivities, including a Pokémon Meet & Greet, a Circles.Life Experience Zone, and F&B Pit-Stop.
In the lead-up to the event, the telco is launching an activation on 16 October featuring 40 distinctively-dressed roamers across Downtown, Woodlands, and Jewel Changi Airport. Passersby will be invited to scan QR codes and engage the roamers to find out more about Dare To Roam. Roamers will also invite consumers to participate in TikTok trends, impromptu spot photography, and Q&A segments, while exclusive invites to Dare To Roam will also be disseminated both physically and digitally (via iPhone airdrop). The three roamer squads will be travelling across MRT lines to eventually reach *SCAPE.

Separately, on the digital marketing front, the telco named Akhil Agarwal to head up its operations. Agarwal was last with Orange Business Service for close to 10 years where he held the role of head of demand generation and account-based marketing for over five years.
At Orange Business Service, his responsibilities included developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and marketing plans with broader awareness and demand generation campaigns with a specific focus on generating leads. Through his field marketing experience in the ANZ region, he was also in charge of creating awareness and demand-generation campaigns, branding, PR and blogs.
