Brewing company Budweiser China has appointed 72andSunny Singapore as regional brand partner for two of its premium beers following a multi-agency pitch. The agency told Marketing that the pitch was first called in the last quarter of last year, and saw agencies across different markets vying for the account.
72andSunny Singapore will spearhead the development of brand positioning and execute integrated campaigns for the two beers in launch markets. According to Budweiser, both brands represent new inroads into future-facing categories and in expanding the company’s diverse portfolio in China.
The appointment for 72andSunny Singapore follows global wins for the network including Audi, Aptamil and Marriott Bonvoy. 72andSunny Singapore’s current clients include AirAsia, Grab, ADIDAS, Google and Carousell.
Vicky Ma, senior marketing director, Budweiser China said 72andSunny is a different kind of creative company, and that the team understands the bottom line realities of business, while not being afraid to take creative leaps that push brands to new heights.
"We are excited to work with a global beer giant, in a truly modern partnership especially with the launch of a new brand. From shaping product propositions to debating creative solutions, we have been collaborators and co-creators at every stage. This is how we work best,” said Johnny Tan, executive creative director, 72andSunny APAC.
