Bold Media SG rebrands to Bud Communications 3 years after launch

Bold Media Singapore, a technology PR and marketing consultancy, has rebranded to Bud Communications. The new brand reflects its evolution to cover a wide range of client sectors including fintech, cybersecurity, martech, electronics, as well as gaming and esports.
The agency first launched in 2017 and has worked with clients including Ampverse, ClearSale, CredoLab, VidCon, Blis, and Inskin. It also previously worked with MullenLowe Asia Pacific for B2B media relations, content creation and communications strategy and planning. Managing director Oliver Budgen (pictured) joined the team in 2017 as head of Asia to lead its Singapore operations. Marketing has reached out to Bud Communications for additional information on the rebranding.
Budgen said the team wanted a name that reflects the high-growth state of its clients, and its role in accelerating their growth. He explained that Bud Communications has changed significantly as a business since it launched as an agency focused predominantly on martech and media clients.
"Since then we’ve broadened our services and client base to provide integrated communications services across a wide range of technology sectors. Embracing a new brand identity underpins that evolution and our vision to become Asia Pacific’s leading technology communications consultancy," he added.
