ARTOTEL Group launches economic hotel brand 'Bobotel' in Indonesia

Indonesian hospitality company ARTOTEL Group has launched economic hotel brand, Bobotel in Indonesia with the first outlet in Medan. Two more outlets, namely Poris 88 in Tangerang and Mangga Dua in Jakarta, are currently in the pipeline.In a press release, the group has decided to expand to Medan due to its strategic location in the central city and proximity to tourist attractions such as Masjid Agung Medan, Rumah Tjong A Fie, Kampung India, as well as Merdeka Walk and Jalan Sumatra. Named Gatot Subroto, the outlet looks to target international or local tourists who wants to find out more about the local cultures.ARTOTEL Group COO Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego added: "Medan as one of the big cities in Indonesia. Medan is known for culture, culinary experiences, and business ventures, which make it suitable to open Bobotel.’’He said that Bobotel is the company's newest hotel brand that caters the mass market with its "reasonable price and efficiency of design". The brand is designed to be modern and stylish for Millennials. With 63 compact rooms, Bobotel Gatot Subroto provides facilities such as communal working space, direct access to swimming pool and gym in the neighbourhood.ARTOTEL Group has four business pillars namely hotel, food and beverage, event management and curated merchandise. On the hotel front, it carries brands ranging from economic to premium and luxury. They are Bobotel, Artotel, Curated Collections, Artotel Casa, Artotel Villa and Artotel Suites.
