Are Media names Anna Quinn as director of sales

Are Media has appointed Anna Quinn as director of sales, bringing one of Australia’s most experienced media and advertising executives into the role. She starts her role from on 17 March and reports directly to Are Media CEO Jane Huxley.

Quinn will lead advertising sales, commercial strategy, affiliate sales and creative operations, joining Are Media’s executive leadership team as the company accelerates its transformation into an omnichannel content business.

With 25 years of experience spanning media, agency and client sectors, Quinn has held leadership roles at Nine, WPP Australia, Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics and Bauer Media.

During her time at Nine, she was general manager of Nine Powered, where she played a key role in developing revenue strategies that used content, data and audience insights. Prior to that, she was managing director of MAXMEDIALAB, leading the luxury media and influencer agency. Most recently, she was Australian managing director of Hogarth, WPP’s global advertising and content production business.

Huxley said Quinn’s expertise in sales leadership, commercial strategy and digital transformation would be instrumental in driving business growth and advertiser engagement.

“Anna has a proven track record in business transformation, leading high-performance sales teams, and delivering strong revenue results,” Huxley said.

Quinn said she was excited to join Are Media as it deepens its engagement with Australian women across print, digital, social, commerce, and immersive experiences.

“Are Media’s brands are some of the most trusted and influential in the country, with a unique ability to connect deeply with Australian women across every platform,” Quinn said.
