APRW, a Singapore-based integrated communications agency, has launched Digital Studio by APRW, an "end-to-end digital solutions outfit". According to APRW, Digital Studio by APRW will have deep capabilities in various technical areas to enhance its value-add to all digital stakeholders’ communication needs. The new business unit will comprise of professional specialists leading several functions, including performance and influencer marketing, video production, design and creatives, content marketing, account servicing, strategy and business development, said Sharon Koh (pictured), managing director, Digital Studio by APRW.

The launch of its new business unit comes in line with the agency's strategic development, which kicked off on its 25th anniversary last year when it rebranded from Asia PR Werkz, APRW said. The launch also comes amidst "shifting trends in media consumption and content search and a rapidly evolving Web 3.0".

Additionally, Digital Studio by APRW also provides present and incoming team members with many career and growth opportunities, including different career pathways for the various functions and the possibility of job rotation. Digital Studio by APRW said in a statement that it plans to groom aspiring young talents under the guidance of senior colleagues who will provide mentorship and training to help them become experts in their respective practice. They will also be encouraged to deepen their expertise through continuous learning programmes.

"We are grateful to have gained trust and confidence from clients across multiple industries, establishing a solid foundation to pave the way for Digital Studio by APRW. With the various specialty functions in place, dual goals are achieved – value-add to our clients with expanded integrated digital solutions, and expand the knowledge base and capabilities of our team members," Koh said.

Currently, APRW’s portfolio of clients includes those in the government, public affairs, FMCG, education, health, hospitality, travel and tourism sectors. Some of its notable partners are Nanyang Polytechnic, specialist professional recruitment consultancy Robert Walters, Singapore Heart Foundation, RedDoorz, Taiwan Tourism Board.

As the agency turned 25 last year, APRW said that it has also set its sight on the regional market, aiming to enter new markets including Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam within the next five years. The firm is also currently in the final stages of a partnership discussion with one of Singapore’s universities and will announce detailed information in the coming months.

Cho Pei Lin, MD of APRW said that the agency was heartened by the support and trust from its clients over the years. “It is no mean feat for a local, independent agency to have grown to a team of 50 and counting, with the breadth and depth of expertise in communication across many sectors, in just 25 years. We have evolved with the changing times to develop new capabilities and service rising industries to remain at the forefront of the industry. Despite the challenges that COVID-19 has posed, we continue to expand our professional networks,” added Cho.
