Real estate agency OrangeTee & Tie, as well as Singapore Management University (SMU) Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (IIE) have appointed communications agency APRW as their PR partner. The partnership with OrangeTee & Tie will be led under Ginny-Ann Oh (pictured left), director at APRW, while the partnership with SMU IIE will be led under Anu Gupta (pictured right), who is also a director at APRW.

For OrangeTee & Tie, it will engage APRW to work with it on retainer. APRW's main areas of work include focusing on media relations, support for marketing campaigns and driving the real estate agency's growth. Oh said: “We have been working closely with OrangeTee to develop and execute a new communications strategy that is aligned with its direction moving forward and upcoming plans. We are excited to be on board and look forward to elevating its position and reaching greater heights together.”

On the other hand, for SMU IIE, APRW has been reappointed for a year-long project. As SMU IIE's PR partner, APRW has been tasked to position SMU IIE as a key voice and changemaker in the start-up ecosystem. Prior to this, the agency has focused on building awareness on programmes such as Protege Ventures that provide a platform to gain first-hand experience into investing into start-ups vis-a-vis promoting SMU IIE's global business competition, Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition, in the media.

Meanwhile, Gupta explained that APRW's strategic approaches and experience within the start-up sector have helped SMU IIE in driving its capabilities in creating a sound eco-system that enables start-ups to grow its ideas while also fostering entrepreneurial spirit with students. “We are thankful for this opportunity, proving the value we bring to the table as a dynamic team of effective communications practitioners who sought to add value to our clients. We are honoured to be re-appointed by SMU IIE, it serves as a great testament and recognition to the work we have done," she added.

APRW is a Singapore-based integrated communications agency focusing on public relations and digital marketing. It is led by a team of owners-directors who design and deliver bespoke communications solutions and marketing campaigns for its clients across APAC. To date, the agency has built a portfolio of clients across areas such as government, public affairs, consumer goods and services, education, among others.

Meanwhile, APRW has also partnered up with India-headquarted PRHUB to launch a specialised communications practice targeted at start-ups looking to expand within and beyond the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. The new practice is established under US-headquartered IPREX, an international communications network with over 100 communications partners worldwide. According to the agency, the specialised communications practice provided a full suite of communications services for start-ups by utilising IPREX’s global network of communication partners. Julie Exner, IPREX global president said previously: “ APRW and PRHUB are highly established partners with deep understanding of the ecosystem. With their expertise and support from other partners in key markets, I am confident that the new practice will be a success and bring start-ups to greater heights."

Additionally in April this year, APRW launched an "end-to-end digital solutions outfit", Digital Studio by APRW. The agency said previously that Digital Studio by APRW has deep capabilities in various technical areas to ensure it value-added to all digital stakeholders' communication needs. The new business unit is comprised of professional specialists leading functions such as performance and influencer marketing, video production, design and creatives, and content marketing, among others.
