Amazon eyes Southeast Asia market

Amazon is reportedly gearing up to expand its horizon into Southeast Asia (SEA), said a recent report on TechCrunch. Marketing has reached out to Amazon for a comment.The US e-commerce giant currently doesn't offer any local service in SEA, but is said to be working towards entering the region via a launch in Singapore launch with selected services within the first quarter of 2017. The news comes several months after it pumped billions into its India business and after it launched its Prime service in China.The report also said, to kick it off in Singapore, Amazon may probably offer - its Prime delivery service as well as, its AmazonFresh grocery service.   Â
