Agency of the Year Awards Hong Kong 2021 results unveiled

On 18 June, MARKETING-INTERACTIVE held its eleventh Agency of the Year Awards, celebrating the success of agencies. Walking away with the prestigious Overall Agency of the Year was ANON once again which scored the highest number of accumulated points with three gold awards, six silvers and three bronzes. With just 17 members, the team showed its immense capability in handling a wide variety of services, including integrated branding, content curation, social media management, brand events and design.

One of the most well-received and widely recognised campaigns from ANON was the “We All Count” campaign in collaboration with Swire Properties. The campaign established a way for Swire Properties to talk about their focus — sustainability. After a decade of working with and seeing Swire Properties’s approach to sustainable development, ANON identified the clear vision — sustainability means everything. 

With 27 categories in total, this year MARKETING-INTERACTIVE added three categories including Data Analytics Agency of the Year, which recognies agencies that have shown exceptional skills in marketing analytics and data insights; MarTech Agency of the Year, which recognises agencies that provide the best marketing technology strategies to develop, deployand/or refine an integrated MarTech stack for their clients; as well as Event Agency of the Year, which recognises agencies that create impressive events which successfully engage the target audience and delivery of the brand message in a dynamic manner.

While many pieces have been written about how the pandemic has changed the marketing industry, this year's agencies showed their resilience and grit as they found new ways to thrive despite strong headwinds ahead. Our 24 member jury panel was blown away by the tenacity of the industry in which change is at the heart of all they created.
