Athletic shoe and apparel brand adidas has tapped local creators in its new "You got this" campaign.

Targeting the Gen Zs audience, the localised video series aims to be positive references and offer inspiration and practical tips for overcoming sports and gender pressure, as well as to achieve their personal best.

In the video series, each creator delves into the unique pressures they have faced and shares their journey to overcoming them.

Some of the creators featured includes pilates instructor Eugena Bey, lifestyle and fitness influencer Jeynelle Ng, paralympian long jumper Suhairi and triathlete Nicholas Rachmadi.

In a video, triathlete Rachmandi and track and field athlete Suhairi discuss the topic of mental health and how competing has impacted their mental and emotional well-being. The two athletes later share what helps them overcome their anxiety.

The athletes also appear in solo videos where they answer fun questions. Triathlete Rachmandi shared his goals for 2024 as well as the items he carries in his bags while Suhairi shares the three important people in his life. Suhairi also shares the items he carries in his bags and his goals for 2024.

Ng and Bey appear in a video together before appearing separately. In their paired video, the two women discuss the challenges they face in their fitness journey and the way from the way they think and perceive their bodies, to addressing naysayers who doubted their credibility at the start of their careers.

In their solo videos, Bey and Ng shares the top three songs they listen to during workouts, three items that are always in their bags and the traits they admire the most in another person.

Each video ends with the creators telling audiences, "You got this".

"We believe this localised approach complements the broader neuroscience content by offering relatable role models and actionable strategies for a younger demographic in Singapore," said adidas in a statement.

The video series comes after adidas unveiled its global "You got this" campaign earlier in February.

The campaign kicked off with a film featuring athletes Pat Mahomes, Trinity Rodman, Lionel Messi, Linda Caicedo, Jude Bellingham, Anthony Edwards, Rohit Sharma, and the New Zealand Rugby All Blacks.

Set against Queen's Under Pressure featuring David Bowie, the film reveals the pressure athletes experience and some of the featured athletes' most high-stake moments in sports. The film ends with a rallying cry "You got this".
