Accenture Song MY names new country head

Accenture Song has named Neeraj Gulati (pictured) as its new country head in Malaysia, according to a LinkedIn update by Gulati. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE understands that he will report to Thomas Mouritzen, Accenture Song's managing director and Azwan Baharuddin, country managing director.
In his role, Gulati will lead product and design, technology and platforms, creative, media and marketing strategy for the agency's Malaysian clients. He will also manage campaign, content and channel orchestration.
Gulati will also be responsible for driving business and operations for Accenture Song in Malaysia, focusing on the company's growth, market differentiation and delivering client value, Accenture Song told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE in a statement.

Prior to his appointment, Gulati was a partner at Entropia, which is part of Accenture Song. He joined the role in 2018 and focused on setting up and leading a full-service agency with a focus on solving marketing challenges with an integrated approach of consulting, customer experience, eCommerce and communication.
Prior to his stint at Entropia, Gulati founded BookyBoo, an eCommerce business focused on creating magical personalised gifts for children.
Gulati was also managing director of Ingenuity at IPG Mediabrands from 2013 to 2016, a branch which he founded. Ingenuity focused on eCommerce, CRM, payment solutions, web store, omni-channel profiling and marketing automation. Prior to that, he was regional head of digital integration at IPG.
The news comes shortly after Accenture agreed to acquire the business of media and marketing technology company, Jixie to bolster Accenture Song’s efforts to drive growth in the Indonesian market. Jixie is headquartered in Singapore with a focus on servicing clients in Indonesia.
Through Jixie’s digital marketing platform and team, Accenture aims to deliver more personalised experiences and enhanced customer engagement for Indonesian clients, according to a statement by the company.
