The biggest winners of Asia eCommerce Awards 2023 unveiled

Watsons Hong Kong attained the “eCommerce Brand of the Year” title at MARKETING-INTERACTIVE’s sixth edition of the Asia eCommerce Awards, with a collection of three Gold, three Silver, and one Bronze trophies that placed them ahead of the intense competition. Strong contenders close behind included Income Insurance with two Gold, five Silver, and one Bronze trophies, and Medinova with three Gold.
Watsons Hong Kong's achieved success with the campaigns “Watsons eDr app”, “Watsons Here for You WhatsApp Solutions”, and “Watsons HK Shopping App”, highlighting its brand “Watsons Hong Kong eShop”, that dominated multiple categories, such as “Best Use of AI / Chatbots”, “Best Brand - Beauty & Wellness”, and “Best Marketplace / eRetailer - Consumer Products”.
Two other sought-after overall titles were awarded that night to recognise the “eCommerce Agency of the Year” and “eCommerce Marketplace / eRetailer of the Year”.
Fairprice Group had a stellar night with the attainment of the title “eCommerce Marketplace / eRetailer of the Year”. The team's seven Gold, three Silver, and one Bronze trophies gave them the edge over its distinguished competitors, including Blibli (Global Digital Niaga) that won two Gold and one Bronze trophies in total.
Fairprice Group's numerous campaigns, such as “9.9 All-In-Sale - All In Omni Campaign”, “Agile In-App Experimentation to drive Conversion, Customer Experience & Cost Efficiency”, and “Sustain Online Groceries Success - Navigating Post-Pandemic Retention” under the brand “FairPrice Group”, secured victory in categories, including “Best eCommerce Campaign - B2C” and “Best eCommerce Innovation”. Notably, they also won “eCommerce Team of the Year – Brand”.
For the third year running, DKSH eCommerce was the well-deserved winner of the “eCommerce Agency of the Year” title putting them in front of fierce competitors such as ADA Asia and RED² Digital.
Fan-favourite campaigns, such as “Connect Customer”, “DKSH Discover”, “Mars Festive Campaigns (CNY & Raya)”, won them seven Gold, four Silver, and two Bronze trophies, taking the lead in categories such as the “Best eCommerce Solution”, “Best Brand - B2B”, and “Best Brand - Beauty & Wellness”.
The winners were decided by a 18 strong judging panel comprised of senior digital eCommerce and marketing professionals from renowned brands across the region. The winners of the Asia eCommerce Awards were announced on the 16 November 2023.
