TIME dotCom has shortlisted Entropia, PHD and Invictus Blue for its media pitch called last month. It is understood that incumbent m/SIX Malaysia pulled out from the pitch. The appointment is expected to finalise next month and only one agency will be handling media buying duties.

Sheila Shanmugam, MD of m/SIX Malaysia, told A+M that the agency is very appreciative of the TIME marketing team who are collaborative partners. She added that over the past two and a half years, m/SIX has delivered good work recognised by the client. "The pitch solution will not be any different for us. The purpose of the pitch is to suss out other agencies and if the client is keen to revisit after completing the pitch exercise, we are happy to discuss," she added.

The appointed agency will work with TIME for two years with the option to extend for another. Andrew Yeoh, head of marketing, previously told A+M that the ideal agency should also be innovative, have first-to-market solutions as well as a kindred challenger spirit and mindset.

The media agency will work alongside Fishermen Integrated and Rockstar Digital, a subsidiary of Kingdom Digital Group, which are managing overall brand and social media duties respectively. They were appointed last month following a pitch held from May to June this year. Five agencies were shortlisted and they were given 33 days to respond including a tissue session for interim feedback and all were compensated for pitch fees in accordance with 4A's regulations. Work will roll out by year-end.
