ZA Bank promotes widespread use of NFTs with DOUBLE DUCKS-themed promotional events

ZA Bank has unveiled a series of online and offline promotional events to celebrate its sponsorship of the DOUBLE DUCKS exhibition in Hong Kong, including a giveaway of limited-edition “DOUBLE DUCKS with Hong Kong Signature Icons” -themed digital collectibles (NFTs). These initiatives aim to bring joy to the community and promote the widespread use of NFTs.

Available until 26 June, the giveaway campaign “Ducky Quests, Double Rewards” offers a chance for the first 4,200 participants to win a DOUBLE DUCKS NFT redemption coupon and a 3.5% per annum time deposit rate-up coupon by completing three designated quests in the ZA Bank App.

The collection of 4,200 limited-edition NFTs are adorned with authentic Hong Kong elements, is part of the “DOUBLE DUCKS with Hong Kong Signature Icons” series, among which six designs will be exclusively distributed by ZA Bank. Subsequent participants after the first 4,200 joiners will receive three MillionTix in June and global transfer cashback coupon or a random merchant coupon.

Apart from NFT giveaway event, the bank has also launched photography competition “Capture Us” to engage with wider audience. ZA Bank users can join the contest by taking a photo of DOUBLE DUCKS with ZA Bank’s mascots, Zappy and Alfie, or ZA Card, and complete the specified steps to share the photo on their Instagram stories.

Participants may get a chance to win a limited-edition DOUBLE DUCKS plush toys. There are 10 winners in total. ZA Bank will publish the winner through ZA Bank official Instagram on 23 June.

Commenting on the initiatives, Ronald Iu, CEO of ZA Bank, said that the giant DOUBLE DUCKS have returned to Hong Kong after a decade, and the bank is honoured to come together with major institutions in town to support this special occasion.

“The Double Ducks seek to bring art closer to daily life, which echoes our vision of integrating digital finance into everyday scenarios. With the community at our heart, we have been actively engaging with our users through large-scale events such as ZA Carnival to allow the public to experience the human touch of virtual banking,” he added.

Technology is the soul of virtual banking, according to Iu. Following the launch of ZA Bank’s NFT Maker campaign for its third anniversary celebrations, the bank is delighted to sponsor the DOUBLE DUCKS” exhibition and distribute unique Hong Kong-themed DOUBLE DUCKS NFTs to our users for free. “We hope the lovely image of the popular DOUBLE DUCKs can help promote the widespread use of digital collectibles in Hong Kong,” Iu added.
