Yvonne Lau steps up as Zenith HK's managing director

Zenith Hong Kong, one of Publicis Groupe's media brands in Hong Kong, has promoted its general manager Yvonne Lau (pictured) to managing director, succeeding Ray Cheng. Within this new role, Lau reports to Lawrence Yang, CEO of Publicis Media Hong Kong. 

Lau will also focus on strengthening relationships with Zenith's key clients, surpassing their expectations, driving new business development, and playing a vital role in the continued success of Publicis Media Hong Kong.

Lau has been with Zenith for over four years as general manager. In recognition of her achievements and leadership, she has been promoted to managing director of Zenith Hong Kong. Apart from Zenith, she had also helmed the role of general manager of Wavemaker Hong Kong.  

In terms of how the strategies will be done moving forward, Lau told MARKETING-INTERACTIVE that the industry thrives on the expertise of talented professionals, making them the agency's most valuable asset.

"However, the current scarcity of skilled workers demands competitive salaries to attract and retain top-tier individuals. To deliver high-quality services, it's crucial to devise inventive methods for recruiting and retaining exceptional talent. Since 2023, our group has equipped all staff with generative AI tools, leading to a significant enhancement in the efficiency and effectiveness of our daily operations," she said.

In addition to media planning and buying services, Zenith HK offers a comprehensive range of cutting-edge solutions, such as SEO, CDP, AI-powered dashboards, and advanced marketing evaluation tools such as MMM, she added.
