You can now organise your apps based on feng shui principles

Global creative solutions company McCann Worldgroup Singapore has joined in on the Lunar New Year festivities with its satirical yet thought-provoking take on 'feng shui' (directly translates to wind-water). 'Feng shui' is a Chinese practice in which a structure or site is chosen to harmonise with spiritual forces.
Dubbed "Phone shui", the interactive e-greeting focuses on organising your phone application layouts for career, romance, finance and health based on feng shui principles. "Phone shui" aims to offer a fresh approach to mindfulness, encouraging users to be more intentional with their digital habits.
With personalised recommendations, including lucky colours and numbers based on zodiac signs, as well as optimal app placements to align your digital space with your goals, "Phone Shui" offers a new way to connect with mindfulness while embracing humour.

Users are also able to download personalised wallpapers based on their zodiac sign and lucky colours.
In a statement, McCann Worldgroup said, "It’s not just about decluttering your home screen, it’s about creating harmony in your digital life - a light-hearted way to feel more assured and balanced for the year ahead."
Seth Low, art director at McCann Worldgroup Singapore said, "As a Gen Z, the digital space can get overwhelming. 'Phone shui' is about welcoming luck and a sense of winning every time you unlock your screen, giving you a fun way to create balance and intention in today’s hyper-digital world."
Feng shui is an important practice in the Chinese community. In February last year, WhatsApp collaborated with local feng shui master Thierry Chow to offer tips on enhancing WhatsApp chat experiences based on users' zodiac signs ahead of Valentine's Day.
Moreover, McCann Worldgroup isn't the only company that has tapped into humourous qualities from the younger generations this Chinese New Year (CNY). Samsung attempted to rizz up Malaysians with its take on CNY festivities. The tech giant took to TikTok to unveil a humorous three-part series titled "Gen Alpha takeover", showcasing CNY norms from the perspective of a young child born between 2010 to 2024 through local TikTok influencers.
The three-part series seemingly aims to bridge the gap between older generations and Gen Alpha this CNY by connecting audiences through engaging dialogue and shared traditions during the festive period.
