Wunderman Thompson unveils new brand identity and logo

Recently merged Wunderman Thompson has launched its new brand identity as the agency aims to be identified as an a creative, data and technology agency. The new brand was created by WPP's Landor. The agency said to the press that "inspiring growth" takes three things.These include seeing the world differently and reject conventional thinking, unbounded creativity to rethink business, culture and brand experiences, and to act decisively and accountably end-to-end. The agency also released a new website, which outlines its structure within.Wunderman Thompson also appointed Annette Male as CEO for APAC, effective 4 March 2019. She will be based in Singapore and will report to global CEO Mel Edwards. Male will serve as APAC CEO at Digitas until 1 March 2019. Current APAC CEO at Wunderman, Caspar Schlickum, will remain on board during the transition and has decided to pursue another opportunity in the industry in the APAC region. He was appointed to the role in 2016.Meanwhile, Jacco ter Schegget, Southeast Asia CEO of JWT and Mirum has joined Publicis Groupe. He will helm the role of CEO for its Belgium and the Netherlands operations, effective 1 March 2019. Schegget will report directly to Jarek Ziebinski, CEO, Northern & Central Europe and will be based in Amsterdam for his new role.
