WONDA Coffee brings to life 'freshness' and 'premium' with hyper-realistic experience

WONDA Coffee has brewed up a new hyper-realistic visual experience for Malaysians at Sunway Pyramid using HyperGram’s holographic technology. The visual experience, which runs until 6 June on the ground floor, aims to captivate consumers with a realistic visual display combined with an interactive public experience. According to WONDA Coffee, this video technology will allow the individual to experience more than what meets the eye. 

While Etika declined to reveal the monetary value of the execution, its spokesperson explained that the creative concept for this execution was to create and communicate the imagery of "freshness" and "premium" of WONDA Canned Coffee through the showcase crafted by the WONDA Barista.

HyperGram is a technology hologram projection that allows audiences to experience huge, ultra HD lifelike projections that appear to be floating in the air. No headsets or mobile apps are required for that, and this is done in partnership with Disturbed media. There are currently no plans to use HyperGram in its upcoming campaigns for the rest of the year.

WONDA has always been creative with its marketing executions, from colourful cups to a mobile speakeasy cafe. When asked where WONDA gets its inspiration from, the spokesperson said that its biggest motivation is to keep Malaysians surprised with WONDA Coffee's campaigns by bringing new experiences that lead to better engagement.

"We always believe that engagement and cutting edge communication are crucial. Hence, WONDA Coffee has been striving our best to tap into a new technology or platform to bring about fresh concepts and ideas," the spokesperson explained.

For the rest of 2022, WONDA plans to continue driving trial and penetration for its hot coffee segment, especially for its latest addition, the WONDA Instant Coffee range. Meanwhile, WONDA will be carrying out activations for its ready-to-drink range at the end of the year.
