Watsons Water teases new collab with Hins Cheung on socials

Watsons Water, the distilled water brand of AS Watsons Group, has unveiled a campaign featuring local singer Hins Cheung and girl group VIVA.

The campaign includes a promotional trailer titled “Hins’ Gift of Life: Watsons Water" featuring Cheung and VIVA. The trailer sees Cheung coming across a group of young hikers (acted by VIVA) who are dangerously suffering from heatstroke and who are just about to fall off a cliff.

In the nick of time, Cheung altruistically comes to their rescue and offers them the magical Watsons distilled water and the Watson’s soda water. Hydrated and rejuvenated, the girls feel blessed with joy and peace. The trailer was released on Watsons Water’s Facebook and Instagram pages on 29 June.

Cheung said, “I grew up with Watsons Water – maybe that’s why this collab went so smoothly because I feel a sense of affinity. The funny thing is, even the campaign colour is my favorite green! I have so many good things to say about Watsons Water based on my experience. And just by chance, I’d ordered several cases of Watson’s alkaline water only a few days before I was invited to this collab – and I was thrilled! Of course, VIVA has made this promo shoot extremely fun as well.”

Partnering with the brand for the first time, Cheung said he was very selective of water because of the brain surgery his mother had undergone several years ago. “We did extensive research on drinking water because of the critical role it plays in our body. Watsons Water is our choice for its 105°C distillation purity assurance – that’s exactly what my mother needs.”

In addition to the trailer, Watsons Waters has also introduced a limited-edition Watsons Water series, with four variations, being featured in Watsons Water Distilled Water 430ml & 800ml and Distilled Water with Minerals 430ml & 800ml bottles. A limited-edition Watson’s Soda Water series will also be launched to add to fans’ collection.

In addition to the limited-edition packaging launched, Watsons Water is releasing an assortment of eight collectible cards featuring Cheung. Upon purchase of Watsons Water beverages, customers will receive a collectible card. The redemption schemes may vary by retail points.
