Watsons has unveiled the first artificial intelligence (AI)-generated ambassador "屈先森" to elevate consumer experience in Taiwan. Meanwhile, the brand will continue to integrate big data through AI technology to provide more personalised product recommendations.

This came as Watsons realised AI has become a hot topic among consumers, a recent example includes the launch of ChatGPT garnering over 100 million signups. Leveraging AI tools Midjourney and Stable Diffusion, the new AI ambassador can establish a stronger connection with consumers with his caring personality, according to the release.

By interacting with customers on social media, the new AI ambassador will provide personalised purchase suggestions and recommended products through analysis of consumers' purchase history, preferences and behaviour, all by applying various big data combined with AI technology. Furthermore, Watsons Taiwan will keep updating the technology to give better suggestions on the product, answering questions in real-time and providing product comparison information to elevate consumers' shopping experience.

The launch of "屈先森" has drawn positive sentiments across social platforms. A check on by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE saw on Facebook that the post on 20 June had garnered 3,635 comments and 459 shares, with many netizens praising the look of the new AI ambassador.
