Volkswagen Group Singapore is exclusively launching and previewing its range of electric cars across Volkswagen, Škoda and CUPRA to the little red dot.

Titled "Volkswagen Electric City", the milestone event aligns with the brand's global commitment to sustainability through electrification technology.

The commitment also extends to education about greener technologies in vehicles to empower consumers to make informed decisions.

The multi-brand event will feature the latest electric vehicle launches and previews for Volkswagen, Škoda and CUPRA.

It will open to the public on 11 May and will feature activities such as postcard making, coaster workshops, photobooths, food trucks and vendor booths selling plants, pet treats and accessories.

For the event, the car brand has partnered with communications consultancy TriOn & Co. TriOn & Co will be supporting Volkswagen Group Singapore with strategic narrative and positioning as well as stakeholder, media and KOL engagement.

The contract will be three to four months long and will cover Singapore. Work kicked off in April, with the event and activities due for May this year.

“I am delighted to work with TriOn & Co for this exciting milestone for Volkswagen Group Singapore. The TriOn team is highly experienced and reliable, and the agency has a strong track-record," said Nigel Yong, Volkswagen Group Singapore group PR and communications manager.

"We have a great working relationship and, I’m looking forward to the work they do for our event," he added.

"We are stoked to work with Volkswagen Group Singapore to drive greater awareness of its electric lineup," said Joel Lah, co-founder of TriOn & Co.

"This project highlights our expertise in strategic positioning, as well as industry proficiency in automotive and sustainability," added Lah. "This partnership is aligned with our commitment to do meaningful and impactful work for clients regardless of industry.”

In tandem, TriOn & Co has appointed Hannah Nwaozuzu as its content manager to expand and strengthen its content and research development offerings.

Nwaozuzu will lead the content ideation and development, as well as research for the clients and the consultancy.

Her appointment, according to a statement by TriOn & Co, is in line with the consultancy's focus on strategic communications, including content strategies, based on insights and research for its clients.
